About the role

The successful candidate will be part of a team managing conservation projects in the Mountain West region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation management activities such as prescribed burning, mowing, and herbicide application.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
• Participate in safety training and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience with conservation or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of ecological principles and practices is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
