The Mountain Operations Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination across departments. This position is responsible for receiving, recording, and relaying critical information to support operational efficiency and exceptional guest service. Dispatchers monitor radio traffic, track mountain conditions and resource deployment, assist with incident response, and maintain accurate operational records.
Responsibilities
- Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication across radio, phone, and digital platforms; Share timely and accurate information with relevant departments to support guest service and operational efficiency; Ensure consistent messaging regarding terrain status and mountain operations
- Monitoring & Dispatching: Continuously monitor radio channels and dispatch phone lines; Receive, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls, including first aid and emergency situations; Determine and deploy appropriate resources based on the nature of each situation
- Incident & Record Management: Accurately log all communications, incidents, and operational updates; Maintain detailed records of radio transmissions, phone calls, and
