Position Summary

Indian Motorcycle of Lafayette is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their growing team. In this role, you will help customers find the right motorcycle and accessories to match their lifestyle, riding experience, and goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with iconic brands, and delivering an exceptional buying experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a professional, welcoming manner
• Guide customers through the motorcycle purchasing process from initial contact to delivery
• Build strong relationships to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate motorcycles, accessories, and protection products
• Present product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately
• Cook up test rides, paperwork, and vehicle delivery with internal teams
• Partner with Finance, Parts, and Service to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience
• Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships and repeat business
• Maintain knowledge of current inventory, manufacturer programs, and dealership offerings
• Meet or exceed individual and dealership sales goals while upholding Tom Wood values

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
• Passion for motorcycles or the powersports industry strongly preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
