Motor Fuel/BBQ Delivery Driver

About the role

The Motor Fuel/BBQ Delivery Driver provides bulk propane deliveries to both residential and commercial customers, ensuring outstanding customer service and adherence to industry safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable deliveries of motor fuel and BBQ propane on a daily basis.
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Perform necessary vehicle and trailer inspections as required, including Daily Vehicle Inspection.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of one-year Class B CDL experience, preferably in delivery of bulk propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.
• A current valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements (an (X) combination endorsement may substitute). License must not contain Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restrictions.
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.
• Ability to pull up to a 175 ft. delivery hose through various terrains and weather conditions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.

Skills

• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanically inclined (preferred but not required): experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment; basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.

Schedule

• Currently available shift: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Some Saturday/Sunday shifts as needed due to demand.
• Occasional overtime and on-call assignments.
