Delivery Truck Driver

About the role

This is a physically demanding delivery truck driver position with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr's policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.)
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times
• Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving
• Accurately load & unload customers (inspect for damaged materials)
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar
• Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.)
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr's driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed.

Pay

$27-32/hr based on but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
