Motor Equipment Operator III (Public Works - (Downtown Maintenance)

About the role

The Motor Equipment Operator III - Public Works (Downtown Maintenance) position is responsible for operating various types of motorized equipment in support of public works projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various types of motorized equipment including trucks, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
• Assist in the planning and execution of public works projects.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of public works operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in using computer software relevant to the job.
• Good physical fitness level.

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
