About the role

The Mocap Producer will oversee mocap production processes, manage timelines, and ensure clear communication between the development team and mocap team. They will collaborate with the Sr. Studio Manager to improve processes and foster an efficient studio environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and approval of Motion Capture calendar for assigned projects.
  • Assist in coordination with 2kGo mobile Mocap Producer for mobile shoots and scans as needed.
  • Facilitate internal teams day-to-day by proactively solving problems and identifying areas for process definition and improvement.
  • Oversight and approval of contract stage and production crew members for shoot days.
  • Liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring communication and information flow.
  • Aid Developers with scheduling breakdowns, call sheets, script supervision, and more based on developers' needs.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with all external clients and publishing partners.
  • Support morning flow as needed.
  • Maintain and deliver Mocap actuals budget to clients.
  • Support R&D efforts.
  • Crosstrain with Mocap Team on standard motion capture processes.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree, or equivalent work experience (plus).
  • 1-2 years Production or Coordination experience (plus).
  • Game dev experience (plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and vigilant proactivity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Hansoft, Shotgrid or other production tracking tools (plus).
  • Knowledge of production methodologies; Scrum, Agile etc (plus).
  • Good judgment, making timely and sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay

The pay range for this position in Petaluma, CA at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,700.00 and $126,860.00 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Schedule

This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement between 2K and IATSE. The successful candidate will be required to become a member of the IATSE union upon hire.
