About the Role
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Requirements
- ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 years of start
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license
- 1+ years Mom Baby RN experience required
