About the role

At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our Mother Baby Unit is a brand new state-of-the-art facility consisting of 35 private rooms designed for family centered recovery. In addition to participating in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge, you will also develop these skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs. Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
• Document required information according to hospital policy
• Present in a professional manner
• As a MBU RN, assess and foster patient-infant bonding
• Function in an organized and time conscious manner

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
• Current BLS certification
• At least two years of inpatient RN experience required
• Mother Baby experience highly preferred

Pay

Hourly Wage Estimate: $32.14 – $48.20 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
