Mother/ Baby Registered Nurse - Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS NRP
• At least one year of RN acute care experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing Mother/Baby RN experience highly preferred

• Facility: BayCare Health System, Mother and Baby Unit-MCH
• Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM Shift 3
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• How often will this team member be working remotely?: Never
