Essential Functions
- Complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily maintenance of all roadways within the work area.
- Jobsites are kept in a safe condition for Contractors, Subcontractors, and the traveling public, whether on foot or by vehicle.
- Maintain accurate reporting records, including job quantities, time sheets, and daily management reports.
- Install and Maintain Permanent MOT Devices per Plan and Spec
- Maintain, install, and remove Temporary Lane Closures, Diversions, Detours, and Flagging operations
- Oversee and Supervise Subcontractors whose operations impact roadway safety and traffic flow

This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Field-based role
- Working on heavy civil and highway construction sites
- The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
- Lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimb coordination
- Excellent stamina required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.
Travel
The role requires no travel.
Required Education And Experience
- 3-5 years of construction foreman experience
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
Preferred Education And Experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
