About the role
Responsible for controlling mosquito populations in residential and commercial areas. Conduct inspections, apply pesticides, and maintain equipment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect properties for mosquito breeding sites
- Apply pesticides and larvicides as needed
- Maintain and operate mosquito control equipment
- Document findings and report to supervisor
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment schedules and progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical condition for handling equipment and chemicals
Qualifications
- Experience in pest control or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skills
- Knowledge of mosquito biology and control methods
- Proficient in using personal protective equipment
- Ability to follow safety protocols
