Mosquito Control Service Technician

About the role

A-1 Pest Control is seeking a conscientious Mosquito Control Service Technician to protect customers by providing professional mosquito control services. This is a full-time temporary position through mid-October, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time year-round employment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely run a prearranged route using electronics and GPS.
• Consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Communicate service expectations and procedures to customers.
• Build good relationships while being respectful and courteous.
• Use electronic devices to record operational records per state requirements.
• Ensure your service vehicle is clean and well-organized.
• Handle pesticides with care, following all state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Comprehend and speak written English fluently.
• Possess a North Carolina driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the insurer.
• Able to lift, carry, and use a 45-pound backpack sprayer in hot conditions.
• Complete pesticide certification and continuing education requirements.
• Able to work before and after regular business hours.

Pay

$17 per hour.
