Responsibilities
- Pursue several projects related to cardiovascular toxicities associated with cancer immunotherapies and other chemotherapeutic drugs.
- Generate and characterize pre-clinical mouse models that recapitulate the cardiovascular toxicities associated with novel cancer immunotherapies like immune checkpoint inhibitor myocarditis.
- Elucidate underlying cardiovascular and immunological biology using these models.
- Collaborate with the UCSF Cardio-Oncology Section on translational and clinical projects.
- Contribute to the characterization of pre-clinical models including both cell-based and small-animal models.
