Mortgage Shipping and Suspense Analyst

About the role

Jet Home Loans, a member of the Dream Finders Homes family, is seeking a Shipping & Suspense Coordinator with experience in loan delivery to investors and government agencies. The coordinator will manage a queue of loan files, prioritize and prepare them according to company and investor requirements, and maintain regular communication with internal and external customers throughout the mortgage origination process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan data and documents for delivery to the appropriate investor as loans are committed.
• Work from a queue or pipeline, prioritizing loan files to meet company and investor specifications.
• Deliver various loan files and products to multiple investors, ensuring compliance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac selling systems.
• Conduct timely follow‑up on each file to research and quickly resolve delivery issues and suspended loans.
• Communicate daily with internal and external customers regarding loan status and delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mortgage loan documents, terminology, and the mortgage origination process.
• Familiarity with the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
• Understanding of the Uniform Closing Dataset.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general computer/technology savvy.
• Experience with the Encompass operating system is a plus.
