Mortgage Secondary Market Specialist

About the role

Provide quality, accurate and timely service to mortgage staff and establish and maintain relationships with secondary market investors. Protect the financial risk management and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk pricing of loans in pipeline; process investor commitments; monitor rate fluctuations in marketplace and advise management of significant changes.
• Manage and monitor hedge performance by reviewing reports to mitigate risk while providing accurate data.
• Comply with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
• Establish and maintain secondary market investor relations by hosting and attending meetings.
• Oversee new loan product releases.
• Retrieve investor rates, publish and distribute rate sheets on a daily basis.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year college) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of experience.
