Mortgage Recruiter

We are seeking an experienced mortgage recruiter with a proven track record in sourcing, interviewing, and placing top talent. You will collaborate with hiring managers to identify ideal candidates for each position and manage the entire recruitment process from start to finish. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume, full-cycle talent acquisition, excels at relationship building, and is highly detail-oriented.

Loan Officer Recruiting Experience Required.

Location: Virginia Beach, VA – hybrid in this area is preferred, but remote options may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers to build and refine a recruiting process for mortgage professionals (mortgage loan officers, mortgage loan processors, underwriters, etc.)
• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including candidate sourcing, screening, qualification evaluation, interviewing, negotiating offers, and follow-up for direct hires
• Maximize outreach methods to job seekers, such as social media, open houses, job fairs, job boards, and high-volume cold calling
• Strengthen candidate search opportunities with top talent sources, including military sources, technical schools, colleges, networking groups, and service organizations
• Create and maintain a pipeline of strong relationships with top talent, including passive candidates and prospects for future opportunities
• Keep pristine and detailed communication records in the applicant tracking system
• Maintain current knowledge of recruitment best practices, human resource policies, EEO, and affirmative action policies and guidelines

Skills

• Superb communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with CRM / applicant tracking systems, MS Office, Google Suite, and social media tools
