Mortgage Product & Investor Strategist
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of mortgage products, including margin reconciliation, as well as but not limited to EPD and delinquency propensity.
- Track and monitor product performance against revenue targets to ensure profitability.
- Drive the creation and ongoing administration of an investor scorecard system.
- This system will be instrumental in quantifying the financial impact of contractual EPO and EPD risks, as well as providing insights into all post-closing activities.
- Key metrics monitored will include commitment extension costs, pulled loan costs, pair-offs, suspense conditioning behavior, first pass purchase percentages, and the number of interactions required to achieve loan purchase.
- Partner closely with the investment community to secure Secondary marketing take out vehicles to guarantee salability of product.
- Maintain comprehensive market awareness by actively monitoring competitive landscape and identifying potential investors for current and future mortgage products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or mortgage industry experience with a minimum of 5-7+ years of Product Management and Investor relations experience.
- Knowledge/experience of varying types of mortgage products such as NON QM, HELOC, CES, JUMBO, ARM, etc.
- Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally; collaborate & influence as part of a team.
- Collaborative in team environments but also able to act autonomously as a decision-maker.
- Knowledge in conducting research to inform product strategy and design.
Pay
The starting base pay for this position is $110,000/annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
