Mortgage Processor/Closer at North Shore Bank in Brookfield, WI.
Responsibilities
- Opens loan files received from Loan Officers which includes ordering appraisals, credit reports, employment verification, surveys, and title commitments.
- Maintains and updates loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with secondary market guidelines.
- Communicates regularly with loan originators, real estate agents, and borrowers to update them on loan statuses.
- Ensures all closing documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with federal regulations.
- Monitors and tracks loan files to adhere to deadlines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of residential mortgage loan processing procedures.
- Understanding of federal regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
