Mortgage Post Closer

About the role

We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team as a Mortgage Post-Closer. In this position, you will complete the post-closing process for all mortgage loans, ensuring thorough and compliant finalization of first mortgages and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough post-closing of first mortgages, verifying complete settlement packages and obtaining any missing information from Settlement Agents.
• Follow up on recorded mortgages and final title policies for recently closed loans, ensuring compliance with At Closing conditions.
• Manage the packaging and timely delivery of mortgage loans to the Secondary Market, keeping track of commitments and alerting management to potential issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal queries and third-party audits, overseeing file preparation and review, and addressing any significant findings.
• Enter loan commitments and details into investor software and origination systems, ensuring accurate data for reporting and tracking, and preparing documents for delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 100% onsite.
