About the role
K. Hovnanian American Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Post Closer to join our team. This role involves reviewing and delivering closed loans to various investors, following up on package deliveries and suspense items, and ensuring timely delivery of FHA case binders to HUD.
Responsibilities
- Review and deliver closed loans to various investors
- Follow up on delivery of packages and suspense items with investors
- Review and deliver FHA case binders to HUD
- Make corrections to files by working with the Closer, sending documents back to the customer and/or closing attorney or agent
- Obtain any missing documents from the file
- Maintain the calendar to ensure timely delivery of packages and follow up until loan is purchased by investor
- Work with Underwriters, Processors, Closers and investors to ensure a smooth delivery and funding process
Requirements
- A minimum of one year related mortgage experience
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and familiarity with real estate and mortgage terminology is helpful
