About the role

Learn and support various operational functions within the mortgage process. Assist internal teams with workflow management, loan file movement, document review, and operational support tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and internal departments
  • Respond to requests, emails, and operational tasks in a timely manner
  • Take initiative to learn systems, processes, and mortgage terminology
  • Adapt to changing business needs and support teams where needed

  • Work independently while maintaining collaboration with leadership and peers
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in a high-volume environment
  • Support operational goals, service level expectations, and departmental productivity standards

  • Review and adhere to policies and guidelines contained within the Employee Handbook, including privacy and information security guidelines
  • Act within delegated authorities and adhere to applicable policy and procedures associated with such authorities

  • Physical attendance in a defined office space may be required to maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower and other protected information
  • Compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as company policies
  • Ability to work extended hours may be required

Qualifications

  • Previous office, customer service, operations, or administrative experience preferred
  • Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
