Mortgage Loan Servicer

Location: Faribault, MN

Overview

The Mortgage Loan Servicer is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of residential mortgage loans from closing through payoff. This position ensures accurate loan administration, provides outstanding customer service, and maintains compliance with investor, regulatory and bank requirements.

Responsibilities

• Daily investor balancing.
• Perform new loan data entry along with sale to investor.
• Process mortgage loan payments, payoffs and loan maintenance requests.
• Manage escrow accounts, including tax and insurance disbursements and annual escrow analyses.
• Monitor annual delinquent tax parcel list.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding loan servicing.
• Process loan subordinations and releases as applicable.
• Monitor delinquent loans and coordinate collection efforts.
• Maintain accurate loan records and documentation.
• Assist with audits, reporting and investor requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve servicing processes and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous mortgage servicing, loan operations, banking or lending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations and escrow administration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
