Responsibilities

• Reviewing loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission
• Verifying borrower income, employment, assets, and credit history
• Ordering and managing third-party documents such as appraisals, titles, and verifications of employment (VOE)
• Communicating proactively with borrowers and Loan Officers to request missing items, clarify details, and provide updates
• Preparing clean, organized files for underwriting review
• Conducting weekly pipeline reviews with Loan Officers to track progress and identify potential issues
• Completing Clear to Close and Closing checklists to ensure all conditions are met before funding

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mortgage processing procedures and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple files at once
• Experience with LOS systems (ARIVE preferred)
• The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player
