Responsibilities
- Mortgage Sales & Origination: Originate and underwrite residential mortgages while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Develop and manage relationships with referral sources including realtors, attorneys, builders, and branch lenders to generate new business opportunities.
- Client Consultation: Interview clients, analyze financial needs, and provide clear, personalized mortgage solutions using C&N’s suite of lending tools.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to connect clients with additional financial solutions across deposit, insurance, investment, and trust services.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in community events to promote C&N and strengthen brand awareness.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure timely, compliant loan closings and a seamless client experience.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree AND 4-6 years previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Required Certifications: NMLS (within 1 year of employment).

- Proven sales experience with strong business development and relationship management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending and market trends.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and community involvement.
