Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop new mortgage transactions for the bank.
• Take qualified and complete loan applications and interview loan applicants.
• Collect necessary documentation and submit loan packets to the bank’s production office.
• Maintain client contact to assist with loan closing processes.
• Solicit realtors, builders, and other partners to establish business relationships.
• Solicit residential mortgage loan prospects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in business-related field preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressively more responsible job-related experience in lending functions and regulatory requirements.
• NMLS registration.
