Mortgage Loan Closer
About the role
WSFS Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer for its WSFS Mortgage division. The Mortgage Loan Closer will prepare and review critical closing documents for mortgage home loans and will work closely with title companies to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions
- Focus on mortgage assignment creation, including creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting
- Meet strict closing deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Previous mortgage processing or closing experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience required
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using Windows and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work under time constraints with a proven track record of dependability and attendance
Eligibility
WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
Pay
$42,289.00 – $69,475.00
Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
