Mortgage Loan Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Review and purchase correspondent lender loan files to ensure timely and accurate loan acquisition
• Develop a working knowledge of agency guidelines as they pertain to the acquisition of closed loan files
• Follow established policies and procedures in the daily execution of the position
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Maintain professional communication standards in all written and verbal correspondences, building strong relationships with internal and external business partners

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in mortgage lending; experience in title, escrow, loan processing, or mortgage loan review preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of residential loan documents
• Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers, and clients
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
