PenFed is hiring a hybrid Mortgage Learning Partner at our San Antonio, Texas Service Center. The primary purpose of this role is to partner with the mortgage line of business (LOB) clients and facilitate engaging training courses in job-specific technical training and soft-skills areas.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective learning sessions on topics such as systems training, PenFed products and services, policies and procedures, and soft skills, with a main emphasis on the assigned subject area.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both in-person and virtual facilitation best practices and standards to effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Support design and enhancement of content for training programs by closely partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of operating policies and procedures, and PenFed's products and services.
- Maintain training data and records for assigned classes.
- Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
- Identify success metrics and conduct pre- and post-training evaluations to test and monitor progress.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of learning programs and/or learner performance to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
- Provide training and support for third-party contractors as needed.
- Maintain vendor relationships for line of business learning programs.
- Ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business Administration, Human Resources) or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
- Minimum three (3) years of related work experience in learning required.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience within the Mortgage industry and strong customer service background required.
- Experience with Mortgage Origination and/or Servicing Systems required.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and experience applying them in both virtual and in-person sessions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Functional knowledge of MS Teams or equivalent virtual delivery tools.
- Knowledge of Windows-based software packages including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in using AI tools preferred.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel to various worksites and be on call as required.
Pay
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $52,200.00 - $104,120.00. This position is eligible for an organizational performance-based annual bonus and an individual performance-based annual bonus, both subject to board discretion and approval.
