Mortgage Insurance Specialist (On-site)

Principal Duties

• Prepare monthly reports and reconcile MI premiums.
• Process bulk batch payments of MI premiums monthly.
• Order and evaluate appraisals when necessary.
• Review and complete MI related research items.
• Process MI cancellation requests, including ordering new valuations.
• Ensure accounts are properly documented with accurate status updates.
• Follow established company guidelines, department policies, and procedures.
• Enter daily productivity into department database.
• Avoid non-compliance with investor and state guidelines.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• College degree preferred, not required.
• Minimum of 1+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Potential to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on policies, procedures, and experience.
• Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines.
• Acute attention to detail and excellent work ethic.

Additional Information

• The position may require additional duties as requested by management.
