As a Mortgage Funder, you are our key support. You strive for excellence in every audit and have a keen attention to detail. This role is about providing top-quality service with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Audit mortgage loan documents to ensure funding conditions have been satisfied in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Review final signed closing package for accuracy prior to wire request and authorization.
  • Perform loan onboarding audit to ensure successful migration to MSP Servicing system.
  • Set up and initiate wire transfers for disbursement of loan funds.
  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and other stakeholders to schedule and execute timely disbursement of funds.
  • Perform loan funding follow-up, including writing tickets to manually move funds within the Bank.
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

Requirements

  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic mortgage lending regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with real estate title work and title policy endorsements.
  • Experience with mortgage funding and/or mortgage loan servicing.
  • Experience with Empower LOS or Blend applications.
  • Experience with Desktop Underwriting (DU) or AUS.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of current TRID and RESPA regulations.
  • Knowledge of legal documents related to consumer real estate.
