Mortgage Finance Ops Analyst
About the role
The Mortgage Finance Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of our Warehouse Lending business unit, helping ensure mortgage loans are funded accurately and efficiently. This position is responsible for coordinating warehouse funding requests, managing the movement of collateral, and serving as a resource for clients and business partners throughout the lending process.
Responsibilities
- Fund warehouse lending transactions and support clients as they work to close loans for their borrowers.
- Manage the movement of collateral, ensuring documents are received, processed, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time.
- Partner with mortgage lenders, investors, document custodians, and internal business partners to resolve issues and keep transactions moving forward.
- Deliver a high-touch customer experience by responding to funding requests, answering questions, and building strong working relationships with clients.
- Identify potential issues, determine appropriate solutions, and escalate concerns when needed to minimize delays and risk.
- Improve processes and support initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the continued growth of the Warehouse Lending business.
Requirements
- Completion of an Associates degree and 3+ years of directly related experience in Warehouse Lending or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong understanding of warehouse lending operational processes and collateral management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- An attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms.
Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of directly related experience in Warehouse Lending or equivalent combination of education and experience.
