Mortgage Final Document Specialist
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
About the role
Performs a formal review and inspection of all final loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness within the designated time period. Contacts the appropriate party for timely delivery of all final loan documentation. Performs data entry of appropriate data elements from the documents into the current tracking system and completes necessary forms and reports to track the final documentation process. Reviews final documentation for compliance with investor/guarantor requirements. Facilitates the correction of any exception identified during the review process. Communicates with title agents, recording offices, lenders, and borrowers until exceptions have been cleared. Performs a quality control review to verify that all documents on the shipping transmittal are included in the current shipment and ensures final documentation is forwarded to the appropriate final destination. Prepares documents for execution and ensures they meet the required standards.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years of mortgage experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage or title processes.
- Experience managing a pipeline with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to be flexible with change.
Locations
- Owensboro: 3 days in office minimum, 2 days remote, flexible schedule.
- Missouri: Home-based.

Pay
The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay range: $21.94 - $26.82 per hour.
