About the role
FAR Inspections is seeking experienced individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors can earn a full-time or supplemental income with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections within 4 days after assignment.
- Report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
- Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
- Fill out a short form in an app.
- Drive for extended periods to cover assigned territory.
Requirements
- Computer with internet access.
- Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Printer.
- Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license.
Pay and Hours
- This is a 1099 position.
- Rates vary based on county and volume.
- Earn $20-$30 per hour depending on volume and location.
- Work 2-30 hours per week, with inspections ranging from 20-500 per month.
