About the role
HERE OnlyFAR Inspections is seeking experienced individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors can earn a predictable full-time or supplemental income with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
- Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
- Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
- Complete a short form in an app.
- Be able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Computer with an internet connection.
- Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Printer.
- Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license.
Pay and Hours
- This is a 1099 position.
- Each inspection has a flat rate which varies based on county and volume.
- You will earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour.
- Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural, you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month, working 2-30 hours per week.
- No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
