About the role
FAR Inspections is seeking experienced independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Based in Reno, NV, we have been in business for over 9 years.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections within 4 days after assignment.
- Report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
- Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
- Fill out a short form in an app.
- Make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
- Drive for extended periods, making numerous stops in the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Computer with internet access.
- Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is preferred).
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Printer.
- Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license.
Pay and Hours
- This is a 1099 position.
- Rates vary based on county and volume.
- Earn $20-$30 per hour depending on volume and location.
- Work 2-30 hours per week, with no set number of inspections per month.
