About the role
FAR Inspections is seeking experienced independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Contractors enjoy a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn full-time or supplemental income.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections within 4 days after assignment
- Report property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards
- Take 9+ photos with brief comments
- Fill out a short form in an app
- Drive for extended periods, making multiple stops in assigned territory
Requirements
- Computer with internet access
- Reliable vehicle (with good gas mileage)
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
- Printer
- Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Pay and Hours
- This is a 1099 position
- Rates vary based on county and volume
- Earn $20-$30 per hour depending on volume and location
- Work 2-30 hours per week, with variable number of inspections per month
