Mortgage Banker Outside Sales

About the role

A Mortgage Banker at Ameris Bank is responsible for sales efforts to originate and close mortgage loans. This includes engaging away from company and home offices to directly solicit business and generate leads for mortgage financing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct sales activities with clients and develop referral sources with individual borrowers, real estate brokers, builders, developers, branches, and other referral sources.
• Proactively solicit business and generate leads for mortgage financing requirements.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
