Morrison Lab - Assistant/Associate/Full Professional Research Series

About the role

The Morrison lab at the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is seeking an individual for a Professional Research position at UCSF. This position is open for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professional Researcher roles.

Responsibilities

The researcher will conduct and support research at the intersection of MRI and neuromodulation, specifically deep brain stimulation therapy for movement disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions. They will build computational imaging tools for clinicians and translate these tools into clinical practice. Collaboration with Radiology support staff and clinicians specializing in DBS is expected.

Requirements

• Appointees must possess a doctorate or its equivalent.
• Prior neuroimaging research experience in the field of multimodal MRI (fMRI, DTI, & QSM) is preferred.
• Prior experience optimizing MRI scanner protocols is preferred.
• Prior experience working in clinical research environments with clinicians is preferred.
• Strong programming skills and experience developing software-based tools are required.
• Strong independent project management skills are required.
• Mentoring experience and interest in mentoring are required.
• Previous experience in the field of neuromodulation is also desired.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent degree required.

Benefits

A reasonable estimate for this position is $93,400-$248,400.

Pay

The salary range for this position is listed in Table 13B.
