Morning Soccer Coach

About the role

We are looking for coaches that specifically can work anywhere between 9am-2pm at local childcare centers and preschools. Soccer Shots Chattanooga is a youth soccer organization for children 2–8 years old that works in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces. We’ve got the curriculum, equipment, and apparel – you bring your enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our organization in the community
• Run 30–45 minute soccer sessions for children at schools, parks, and public spaces
• Create an awesome experience for each and every child

Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
• Must have your own reliable car
• Ability to work with little supervision – once you get your schedule, you’ll be expected to show up on time at every location each week
• Commit to the entire season – this is very important given the age of children we work with

Pay & Schedule

• Pay starts at $18 for each 30-minute session
• Coaches coach anywhere from 3–30+ sessions/week depending on availability
• Coaches with Saturday morning availability are prioritized

What we're looking for

A community of like-minded individuals with a passion for impacting children through the game of soccer; an environment that prioritizes relationships, culture, and fun; where you can act silly – pretend to be pirates, astronauts, or animals; give lots of high fives and encouragement; and be a superhero to children on a daily basis.
