Morning Shift Diesel Mechanic $1,000 - $3000.00 Signing Bonus DOE

Maintained Duties

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Correcting vehicle deficiencies.
• Making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.

Required Skills

• Knowledge with the following OEM manufactures and proper repair practices: Cummins, Paccar, Allison, Mack, Detroit, Caterpillar, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Autocar, Bendix, WABCO.
• Knowledge with body manufactures is a plus including McNeilus, Heil, Labrie, Galbreath, Marathon, Wittke, American Hoist, and Wanye.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems including lights, relays, PLC, proximity switches, ABS systems, electronic transmissions, engines, and chassis components.
• Experience with hydraulic systems including pumps, valve bodies, air and electric slave cylinders, High pressure oil, lines and fittings.
• Compressed Natural Gas experience a plus.
• Experience with different pneumatics; including air dryers, governors, compressors, relay valves, lines and fittings.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately write and document detailed work/repair orders.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's license (CDL Preferred but not required).
• Full set of industry standard tools.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting wage is between $28.00-$45/hour depending on mechanic experience.
• $1,000 - $3000.00 Signing BONUS DOE.
• Monday through Friday 1:30pm to 10:30pm with overtime.
• Some Saturdays required.
• Annual Tool Reimbursement after one year of service, 2x times a year for up to $3000.
