About the role

Nothing Bundt Cakes Brentwood, TN is hiring part-time and full-time Joy Creators (Front of House Associates) for morning shifts. As a Joy Creator, you’ll sweeten the bakery experience, helping guests celebrate with the perfect cake and creating an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in the community.

Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Schedule

• Part-time associates: 15–30 hours per week, Monday–Sunday.
• Full-time associates: at least 30 hours per week, Monday–Sunday.
• Morning shifts typically run 8:30 AM–1:30 PM, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–3:30 PM.
• Bakery hours: Monday–Saturday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone guests with warmth and enthusiasm, using NbC’s Sweet Steps of Service to deliver a superior experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on cake distinctions, sizes, flavors, pricing, promotions, and complementary retail items.
• Suggest additional merchandise (balloons, candles, cards) to enhance celebrations.
• Process orders efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system; invite guests to join the NbC Email Club.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery, including sweeping/mopping floors and cleaning countertops, windows, and surfaces.
• Restock retail merchandise and cake display cases for strong visual presentation.
• Assist in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health, safety, and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene standards.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
