About the role

WJAC is looking for a dynamic full-time Morning Anchor who is an outstanding journalist with a great personality and a team leader. Our anchors participate in the planning of our shows, produce content regularly, and embrace social media to consistently engage with the audience. Collaboration and a competitive passion to win through innovation are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead morning broadcasts with a smooth and pleasant delivery
• Demonstrate strong writing skills and news judgment
• Shoot and edit sharp video content
• Engage with the audience through social media
• Collaborate with the team in planning and producing shows

Requirements

• At least 2 years of on-air experience
• Live commercial television experience
• Strong "in-the-field and live" skills
• Exceptional written communication skills using a conversational writing style
• Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills
• Smooth and pleasant on-air delivery
• Sharp video shooting and editing skills
• Exemplary communication skills
