Schedule

This position includes morning and afternoon split shifts, totaling approximately 15–25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Helping children get ready for school
• Preparing simple breakfasts and/or lunches
• Making sure backpacks, homework, and school items are ready
• Safely transporting and dropping children off at school
• Helping keep the morning routine organized and on time
• School pick-up
• Transportation to after-school activities, sports, or appointments
• Homework help and supervision
• Preparing snacks or simple meals
• Engaging children in age-appropriate activities
• Light household chores related to the children, such as tidying play areas, laundry, dishes, and helping keep common areas organized

Qualifications

• Experience in providing childcare, with a focus on creating a nurturing and safe environment
• Ability to manage morning and afternoon routines efficiently, ensuring children are prepared for school and activities
• Proven track record of safely transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Strong organizational skills to keep children's items, such as backpacks and homework, ready and organized
• Capability to prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks that cater to children's dietary needs
• Skill in engaging children with age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Experience in assisting with homework and providing educational support to enhance children's learning experience

Pay

$16 - $19 hourly
