About the role

We are seeking a Method of Procedure (MOP) Analyst for an ongoing construction project. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, vendor/contractor coordination, and the ability to integrate IT infrastructure requirements with construction delivery. This role ensures safe, compliant, and well-coordinated execution of multi-disciplinary project work while maintaining hyperscale clients' operational standards. Candidates should have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review Method of Procedure (MOP) documents based on site design documents.
  • Review and redline construction documents, including engineering drawings, electrical and plumbing diagrams, and structured cabling.
  • Coordinate with counterparts and clients in the USA, providing daily project progress updates.
  • Maintain and enforce the organization’s safety program, ensuring daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed; stop work when unsafe practices or conditions exist.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all staff, subcontractor, and safety incidents.
  • Oversee the project’s construction design and projected schedule.
  • Communicate project changes to the client and collaborate with the Project Manager and other Construction Managers on implementation.
  • Comply with and enforce the quality program for the company and subcontractors’ work, ensuring all quality standards meet customer specifications.
  • Interpret and verify industry standards, guidelines, and codes for project deliverables.
  • Schedule and monitor work plans consistent with agreements.
  • Act as a key interface with construction and project teams, logistics, and general contractors.
  • Understand local building codes, environmental regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Implement technical project requirements and assist others in accomplishing the same.
  • Prepare standard discipline deliverables, including work processes and tools.
  • Maintain documentation, weekly updates, and communication through project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS SharePoint, Excel).

Requirements

  • Recognized bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Instrumentation) from an accredited college or university.
  • 6+ years of industry experience, preferably in data center and infrastructure construction; prior direct employment with a data center is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of interaction between disparate low-voltage systems (BMS, EPMS, Fire Alarm).
  • Proficiency in MS SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Teams, Visio, and CAD drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Experience in data center/HUB construction planning.
  • Construction trade knowledge (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical).
  • Experience ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Experience working in high-volume environments.
  • Experience in process documentation development.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • OSHA 10 Certification (optional).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites.

Pay

$80,000 – $100,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
