About the role
As a General Utility Worker on our team, you’ll maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and work environments. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for career growth within Aramark.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas.
- Keep equipment in working condition; report any issues to management.
- Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
- Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
- Able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Demands
- Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
