Moody's Analyst
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and related records to support accurate credit and financial assessments.
- Evaluate key performance indicators, including financial ratios and loan covenant measures, to help inform lending and risk-related decisions.
- Review loan agreements and other lending documentation to identify terms, obligations, and reporting considerations.
- Provide subject matter support for activities connected to the Moody’s CreditLens implementation project.
- Partner with finance and project stakeholders to ensure data interpretations align with business and reporting needs.
- Apply accounting knowledge to validate financial information used in analysis, reporting, and system-related workflows.
- Aid in the preparation and review of financial reporting outputs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lending.
- Ability to read and interpret loan agreements and related credit documentation.
- Ability to communicate across business units including legal and underwriting.
- Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and commercial loan closing.
- Experience with Moody’s CreditLens is preferred.
- Background in Financial Services environments is preferred.
