Moody's Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and related records to support accurate credit and financial assessments.
• Evaluate key performance indicators, including financial ratios and loan covenant measures, to help inform lending and risk-related decisions.
• Review loan agreements and other lending documentation to identify terms, obligations, and reporting considerations.
• Provide subject matter support for activities connected to the Moody’s CreditLens implementation project.
• Partner with finance and project stakeholders to ensure data interpretations align with business and reporting needs.
• Apply accounting knowledge to validate financial information used in analysis, reporting, and system-related workflows.
• Aid in the preparation and review of financial reporting outputs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending.
• Ability to read and interpret loan agreements and related credit documentation.
• Ability to communicate across business units including legal and underwriting.
• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and commercial loan closing.
• Experience with Moody’s CreditLens is preferred.
• Background in Financial Services environments is preferred.
