About the role
A.B.I. RESOURCES is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across various programs. The positions require a minimum of one to three years of healthcare experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, smart-phone and tablet skills, and a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, food preparation, transportation, and daily documentation.
- Support clients in safety, organization skills, medication reminders, and social entertainment.
- Help clients find meaningful employment, manage money, develop social skills, and participate in recovery from conditions like strokes, concussions, and brain injuries within community settings.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Smart-Phone and Tablet Skills
- Background Check and Drug Testing Before Hire
- Flexible Schedule, Including Different Sites and Programs
- High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
- Experience helping people recovering from strokes, concussions, and brain injury within community settings.
- Support clients with safety, organization skills, medical and therapeutic rehab homework, medication reminders, social entertainment, finding meaningful employment, managing money, developing social skills, and participating in recovery.

Pay
- Fulltime: 40 hours per week
- Parttime options available: 25, 30, 32, 35 hours per week
