About the Role
Join our team as an Assistant Montessori Teacher and make a positive impact on future generations by helping students develop a love for learning and a trajectory of success. This full-time position works alongside trained Montessori Teachers to deliver our mission of cultivating a lifelong love of learning in students aged birth through 6 years old. No prior Montessori experience is necessary—you’ll learn alongside an experienced faculty while supporting high-quality learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers as part of a teaching team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
- Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
- Engage in positive redirection of children and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate with parents on routine matters regarding the health and care of students.
Requirements
- Minimum: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).
