Montessori Teacher Assistant- Floater

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers
• Work alongside a team of teachers to deliver on our mission of developing a lifelong love of learning in students
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents on routine matters regarding the health and care of students

Requirements

• Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework
• At least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is not necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development) is preferred
